Luv 2 Read

My boys and I love to read. Together, individually, day and night we are readers at heart. I had so much fun combing through my photos tagged “read” to find my favorites. I love layouts that look back at one activity through the years.

With all the paper scraps I have on hand it seemed like the perfect way to use them up!
  • Color Inspiration: I wanted to use bright colors so I decided to go with black and white photos. I simply searched through my paper scraps for colors I liked in a variety of widths.

I used two 4×6 photos to create my photo grid. By pulling my pictures into a photo collage I could print them easily and give the look of a much larger photo block! If you want to use layered templates to create your own photo collages check out this tutorial post!

I was so excited to find the library card and true story label sitting in my embellishment stash. It seemed the perfect combination for this layout. A doily gave a bit of feminine softness to all the angled lines in the layout.

That may be “The End” of this layout, but it is definitely not the end of our love for a good book!
