My oldest son knew that his class was taking a field trip to the skating rink in February. So over Christmas he asked if we could go as a family so he could learn to skate before his field trip. 🙂 We thought it sounded like a great way to have some frozen fun!
- Design Inspiration: I loved all the cute circles in this layout by Jen Chapin from her class Start with a Sketch at Big Picture Classes.
- Color Inspiration: These photos were from a recent ice skating outing we took so I went with cool colors on a white background.
I wanted some of my circles to shimmer so I picked scraps of paper that were already shiny. For a few that weren’t I added a layer of vellum on top. I loved getting to use up so many of my paper scraps!
I clustered three photos together of our skating adventure and finished the band with a bit of journaling. You can easily make a photo cluster too by following my 4×6 Template or PicMonkey tutorials. Quick, easy scrapbook pages are my favorite!
