Love U Miss U

It’s hard to lose someone you love. Especially when that someone is your Dad. I didn’t really have words when I created this layout, but I wanted to document one of the best photos I have of my Dad.

I loved the colors, and the words that were at the top of the cards.
  • Color Inspiration: The colors on the bingo cards were so bright I decided to use black paper for the background.

I used a bit of washi tape and wooden people to represent a Daddy’s girl with the first man she loved. 🙂 In addition to being sentimental it helps to balance the layout.

I used two black banners to house the title. I also used some red numbers to give a nod to the date Dad passed (7/3/15). It’s subtle but it means something to me.

As much as I miss my Dad this layout doesn’t make me sad. I’m so glad I took time to create something just for him!

This is beautiful. It’s hard to have a crafting mojo when loss is so deep. Very sorry for your loss. What a wonderful way to remember.
