I’m always looking for boy scrapbooking ideas. In this layout I documented the nicknames I use for my two sweet boys!
- Design Inspiration: I really enjoyed the topic ideas in Leanne Allinson’s class Boy Stories. I couldn’t wait to create a page of the nicknames I use for my boys. I also mimicked the design Leanne used, but adapted it to 12×12.
- Color Inspiration: Bright boy colors were the choice of the day. It was a great way to use up letter stickers and embellishments!
I don’t have separate nicknames for my two boys, I tend to use the same ones. To create this layout I made a list of those names and found a variety of alphas to document them. Maybe someday I’ll have an updated list to create a new layout.
To balance the heaviness of the right side of the layout I added a couple of pennants with a word sticker and a couple of brads. I love finding ways to use up my enormous stash of embellishments!
I adore this layout, and I never would have thought to document this story without Leanne’s class! There are so many great classes at Big Picture. It’s my go to source for inspiration.
