Every summer we head to Iowa for a long weekend at my sister’s house. For my children it’s like entering into a whole other universe. They absolutely love their time having fun on the farm. And I thought it was high time to scrapbook it!
Design Inspiration: This layout was inspired by Stacy Julian and Darci Dowdle’s class Super Simple Scrapbooking Challenges. The challenge was to use a bunch of 4×4 photos on a layout. I loved how easy it was to gather all my favorite photos from our trip to the farm in one place! Yay for simple scrapbooking!
- Color Inspiration: If you are scrapping about the farm you pretty much have to use John Deer green, don’t you?!! I think it’s some kind of rule. Green and a bit of yellow for the win.
I printed up a whole bunch of my favorite photos in 4×4 square. I did trim them down just a bit to allow for a bit of space between each pic.
There aren’t really any embellishments on this page. Just a block of patterned paper, a strip of washi and a title. No journaling needed, just fun family pictures! I love a fun, fast and simple layout.
