December Daily 2014 {Day 7-13}

I’ve got another week of December DailyΒ in the books. I’ve also printed out week 1 and added it to my album. I hope that later this week I can complete my album cover and title page! Loving how all these spreads are coming together.

Here’s a look at week 2…

Day 7:

We had the opportunity to see the Paul Mesner puppets perform the nativity story. It was such a unique way to witness the story of Christmas. I loved watching the awe in my boys’ eyes. Especially when they got to move one of the puppets after the show.

Day 8:

Our neighborhood invites Santa to the local coffee shop every year. I love the tradition and I love that my boys still look forward to sitting on Santa’s lap. And for once I got a genuine smile from my oldest son.

Day 9:

It may be the holiday season but life goes on as normal. The boys go to school, come home, drop their items all over the floor before having a snack and starting on their homework. Sometimes those piles make me crazy…and sometimes they remind me of the joy of having my two sweet boys around.

Day 10:

Very near to our house their is a large light display. I love driving through and seeing all the lights. This year my husband joined us as well. My oldest did NOT want his picture taken. I obliged…but pointed him out none the less. Haha!

Day 11:

We finally finished decorating the house. I decided to take a few pics of my favorite decorations. (psst…I finished the decorations on a different day, but took pics and documented them on the 11th. It all counts!)

Day 12:

Pizza and an evening with friends…a perfect Friday! Because there are photos and names of friends I’m choosing not to share this spread online. πŸ™‚

Day 13:

Every year my neighbor and I go shopping to finish off our Christmas lists. I love the time spent with a friend, and that I get to check off so many gifts in one fell swoop!

I didn’t remember to take pictures during our actual outing, but I go to Target a lot. πŸ™‚ So I snapped a photo the next time I was there, and then created a collage of store logos for the 4×6.

Still loving the process of documenting my December, and feeling glad to have these pages in my album! I can’t wait to see what the next week of spreads brings. πŸ™‚

I absolutely LOVE your DD! I’ve 90% digi, 10% hybrid. Looks like your album was 100% digi, am I right?

Thank you for taking the time to post during this hectic time of year. Your layouts provide lots of inspiration (love the words/banner where you shot a pic of your feet w/a Target bag and the little boxes of the different stores you have purchased gifts, I’m going to be scraplifting those ideas, thanks)!

At this point my album is 100% digi. I’ve printed the spreads and added them into a SN@P album. But I’m still thinking about going in and adding some embellies. So it may turn hybrid in the end. πŸ˜‰

And scraplift away! Sharing inspiration is what Scrap Inspired is all about!

Good for you for keeping up! That’s not happening here…

Libby, I’m shocked I’m keeping up! I certainly have plenty of other projects that haven’t been like that at all. PL is only done through March. πŸ˜‰ You’ll get to it when you get to it! Just enjoy the holidays and don’t stress about DD!
