I’ve got another week of December Daily in the books. I’ve also printed out week 1 and added it to my album. I hope that later this week I can complete my album cover and title page! Loving how all these spreads are coming together.
Here’s a look at week 2…
We had the opportunity to see the Paul Mesner puppets perform the nativity story. It was such a unique way to witness the story of Christmas. I loved watching the awe in my boys’ eyes. Especially when they got to move one of the puppets after the show.
Our neighborhood invites Santa to the local coffee shop every year. I love the tradition and I love that my boys still look forward to sitting on Santa’s lap. And for once I got a genuine smile from my oldest son.
It may be the holiday season but life goes on as normal. The boys go to school, come home, drop their items all over the floor before having a snack and starting on their homework. Sometimes those piles make me crazy…and sometimes they remind me of the joy of having my two sweet boys around.
Very near to our house their is a large light display. I love driving through and seeing all the lights. This year my husband joined us as well. My oldest did NOT want his picture taken. I obliged…but pointed him out none the less. Haha!
We finally finished decorating the house. I decided to take a few pics of my favorite decorations. (psst…I finished the decorations on a different day, but took pics and documented them on the 11th. It all counts!)
Pizza and an evening with friends…a perfect Friday! Because there are photos and names of friends I’m choosing not to share this spread online. 🙂
Every year my neighbor and I go shopping to finish off our Christmas lists. I love the time spent with a friend, and that I get to check off so many gifts in one fell swoop!
I didn’t remember to take pictures during our actual outing, but I go to Target a lot. 🙂 So I snapped a photo the next time I was there, and then created a collage of store logos for the 4×6.
Still loving the process of documenting my December, and feeling glad to have these pages in my album! I can’t wait to see what the next week of spreads brings. 🙂
