This week we are talking all about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle party ideas. With the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie coming out, turtle power is going to be the talk of the town. And little boys everywhere are going to want a TMNT party of their own.
Today I’ve got some ideas to jump start your party. Let’s talk snacks and goodie bags!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Party Ideas
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Snack Ideas
I’m no Martha Stewart so I wanted my TMNT snacks to be simple. But still CUTE! I started with creating some themed cookies.
Gather your cookies, some white frosting, green food coloring, candy eyes and colorful fruit roll-ups.
It didn’t take much food coloring to turn that frosting green. Just add a few drops and get to mixing.
Once you are all mixed up you can frost your cookies (or cupcakes if you prefer).
Now that’s one pretty green cookie.
I was so excited to see that Fruit by the Foot came in all the right colors. Red, blue, purple and orange. Yippee!
I just peeled off a bit of fruit roll-up and placed it across the cookie to create the mask.
Now all these cookies need are some candy eyes.
I used a bit of frosting to stick the eyes onto my cookie.
Four fun TMNT cookies ready to go!
Now it’s time to quench our party goers thirst. Find some drinks in green bottles, streamers in the TMNT colors, and some eye stickers.
Cut a strip of streamer to wrap around the bottle.
The streamers were a bit wide, and see through, so I folded them in half.
Then tie the streamers in a knot.
Then trim off the excess streamer.
To keep the streamers from sliding around you can always add a bit of tape.
Add the eyeballs and you have some fun TMNT drinks to go with those cookies.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Goodie Bags
When the party is over you are going to want to send your guests home with a bit of TMNT goodies.
All you need is some green bags, colored paper, and wiggle eyes.
I trimmed each strip of paper to 2 inches by 6 inches.
Those dimensions allow the paper to hang off the bag just a bit.
I want to cut the paper to resemble a tied mask. To keep it even I folded the end of the paper just a bit (don’t crease it, just hold it).
Then take your scissors and cut from the corner at an angle.
Add some adhesive and stick the mask to the bag.
Add some wiggle eyes to the bag and your mask is complete.
Look at those adorable goodie bags just waiting to go home with your special guests.
