A Card & A Giveaway

Celebrate 4 years of scrapbooking inspiration with 4 days of giveaways: http://scrapinspired.com/2014/02/a-card-a-giveaway/

It has been so fun celebrating 4 years with all of you! There is still time to enter the giveaways from Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3. Today’s giveaway is my favorite one of all, for obvious reasons. 🙂 But first let me show you this sweet card.

I’m not much of a card maker but occasionally I need a quick card. I told you that I had a baby shower recently (for which I made the 12 month onesies) so I threw together this fun card.

I have a pack of these notecards. Since they have matching envelopes they are perfect for using as a card base. Unfortunately the M wouldn’t work in this case.

So I dug through my 3×4 pocket products to find a card that would coordinate. I loved the way the dots on this card mixed with the stripes on the notecard.

Then I found a cute sticker that would coordinate as well as fit the event.

To add a bit more design I added a couple of glittery flowers to the card.

My gift also needed some instructions so I grabbed another 3×4 dotted card. On the flip side it said Epic.

I like that the back is plain and matches the card for the gift.

But ‘Epic’ just doesn’t make sense for the instructions card. So I found a label that would work a bit better.

Now I have a perfectly coordinating greeting card and instructions card for my baby shower gift.

I just love finding ways to use up my stash of 3×4 and 4×6 pocket products! Which is why I created Scrapbooking Outside the Pocket beginning March 4th.
