Monday was the most recent installment of Inspiration to Creation Live. If you’ve never attended an Inspiration to Creation LIVE, I show you my scrapbook inspiration and then take you through the process of creating a layout from start to finish. So many fun scrapbook layout ideas come out of these sessions!
We had lots of fun! Chatted, laughed, and of course…scrapbooked! If you missed the live version, you can watch the replay below. But first let me show you the scrapbook layout I created!
- Design Inspiration: I loved this photo canvas. Because of it’s square shape I knew I could model a scrapbook page after the design.
- Color Inspiration: With so many photos I went with bright colors on a white background. Simple yet fun!
Because I tag my photos of the two boys as “brothers” it was easy to pull a bunch of pictures of the two of them together. I chose 16 photos from the last year that I felt depicted their relationship with one another. I used a photo collage template to print six 2×2 photos on a 4×6 canvas. (See my PSE tutorial or PicMonkey tutorial to learn how).
To create the main block I printed my favorite photo as a 4×6 and paired it with a 4×6 journaling card. Love it! But the best part? I documented 17 photos that I adore from 2013 on one layout! How awesome is that?!!
If you want the full Inspiration to Creation LIVE experience, watch the replay below. We will be doing this on the first Monday of every month. Our next session will be Feb. 3rd. Hope you can join us in February!
