December Daily 2013 {Days 4-5}

Have you entered to win a spot in December Duos? There’s still time to enter here!

Even though life has been crazy this week I’ve been able to stay on top of my December Daily! Let’s see if I can keep this momentum going!

Day 4:

December Daily Ideas: Document a letter to Santa |

This year we have been talking a lot about reasonable lists. My children don’t need an iPhone and an iPad and a laptop and a Kindle Fire and a…. I want my children to appreciate the blessings they already have!

I found this adorable letter template on Pinterest. It says “I want, I need, I’ll wear, I’ll read, and I really want.” While my oldest thought it seemed a bit short (ha!) they went along with it. Hoping this will be the beginning of a bit more understanding about how much they truly already have!

I loved watching them write their letters. And this believe template by Ali Edwards was a perfect fit!

Day 5:

December Daily Ideas: Document a day out |

My Mother’s neighborhood had a holiday luncheon yesterday. After the luncheon we toured some of the homes all decked out in holiday decor. It was such fun to spend the whole day with my Mama. 🙂

It really was a day of magical fun!

    Love the sound of that Christmas letter, I need to teach my daughter to think more carefully about what she wants and needs! Love how you used the ‘believe’ template! x

      Thanks Jennifer! It is an important lesson that I *think* is getting through. At least when they sat on Santa’s lap this weekend they asked for reasonable things instead of every electronic device known to man! 🙂
