More than a week ago I spent some time getting caught up on my December Daily. I had every intention of sharing it all with you…and then life happened. My father ended up in ICU over the weekend so DD got put on the shelf, and family came to the forefront. Of course! He is doing better and out of ICU so I finally had time to get these pages photographed and uploaded to share with you.
(Forgive me for the pink glare on so many of the photos. My shirt kept giving me some trouble while taking pics.)
We had a random day off school on the 13th. Right at bus time we got a bunch of freezing rain so the district cancelled for elementary only. Which allowed for a nice relaxing day at home followed by pizza night with friends.
Right now Saturdays are basketball days. So of course one of my DD spreads needed to focus on my youngest playing basketball. And the fact that his brother spends most of the game playing on the phone.
Every year our children participate in the church advent program. This year my oldest was a wise man and my youngest the inn keeper. Both did an awesome job with their lines! Love watching the Christmas story come alive. 🙂
Our boys LOVE watching their personal Santa videos each year from the Portable North Pole. It’s an event that is both exciting and nerve wracking as they wait to see if they made Santa’s “nice list.” Love watching them watch Santa with joy.
