I just love the start of school. For many selfish reasons (can you say more free time?) but also for the chance to look at how my boys have grown over the past year. It’s one of my favorite moments to capture in my Project Life!
This week I had a lot of fun mixing digital stamping and regular stamping in my spread! I love the look of digital word art on photos, but I also love using my favorite inks and stamps. So I decided to just go for it and use both!
We went out for ice cream the night before school started. Can you tell which ones belong to the kids? Can’t believe what toppings they will put on their ice cream!
While most of the spread is dedicated to the start of school I also wanted to include a few other tidbits. Like my Dad’s 65th birthday party and a beautiful butterfly that landed on my son’s hand!
I just love these first day of school photos. It captures a bit of who my boys are right now, and that is so worth documenting.
