Finish a Project Life Spread in 30 Minutes or Less!

Yep, you heard me…it took me less than 30 minutes to complete a Project Life spread! How did I do such an amazing thing? I let my photos tell the story and skipped all the fancy embellishing!

This technique works especially well when you have a week long event. Every summer my family attends a week long family church camp called Reunion. I don’t need lots of journaling to know what happens during this week. The photos tell the story for me. So I let them!

We did have one other event during these two weeks in June, a wedding. So I designated a few pockets for that story, and then filled the rest with Reunion pics!

One simple journaling card with an overview of our week and that was all I needed for this story. Simple…easy…quick…RECORDED!

Another way I kept the week short and sweet was by using full sized photos. No photo templates for me. Just a few of my favorite pics from the week and I was good to go. I really love the look of a Project Life spread filled with photos!

Take a peek at that photo of my son. His board says, “Dear God, thank you for Reunion.” Pretty much sums it up for me too. And I’m loving how quick and easy it was to tackle two weeks of Project Life!

I love it when PL is quick and easy. Plus sometimes the pictures really do tell most of the story and all the things aren’t really necessary, the faces in your pics are the best embellishment you need.
