Facebook and Twitter are both such a part of my daily life. And I often share funny little stories and things my boys say. So I wanted to find a way to include those social media bits in my Project Life album.
I pulled together a video to show you my process for including social media in my album. I’ve got some step by step directions for using those adorable 3×4 social media cards (linked below) as well as how I include a full facebook conversation paired with a picture.
- You can copy and paste the text of your facebook or twitter status updates and copy that text directly into the text box.
- Use the same profile pic on the cards as you use in facebook and twitter
- Use screen shots to capture an entire facebook conversation
Along with all the social media cards I also included an insert for Easter. I have to say that doing two weeks for each spread has really been working for me. I love the flexibility of being able to add an insert whenever the mood strikes me without adding a ton of bulk.
Whenever we go out to eat I often grab a business card mainly to insert in Project Life. This time I cut a bit around the circle of the 3×4 card so that I could slide the card behind it. Love how it turned out!
These boys just crack me up. They wanted to showcase their “cool” looks in their Easter clothes.
All I needed was a couple of journaling cards and this spread was done. Love it when Project Life comes together quickly.
So do you use social media in your Project Life? How do you include it?
