I finally got my Project Life kit for 2013 and have my title page ready to share with you!
As we begin a new year I’ve done a lot of thinking about what is working for me in my scrapbooking, what isn’t, and what I can change to make things go better. I LOVED doing project life in 2012 and knew I wanted to continue it in some form during 2013. But I also knew that I needed to make some adjustments. First of all, I really want to get the whole year in one album. And that means that I can’t do a full spread with inserts every single week. During the last part of 2012 I found myself going to more 2 week spreads and that really worked well for me. So I have decided that this year I will document 2 weeks at a time. That allows me to relax a little on not only taking photos but also getting them into my project life. I’m really excited about this more relaxed plan and hope to share my January spreads with you next week! Now back to the detail shots of my title page.
I wanted something that made it clear what year this album is. I saw an adorable title page here and wanted to create my own version. I thought vellum would make a super fun, although subtle, title card.
My favorite thing to do on a project life title page is to include some recent photos and our ages as we start the new year. This time I decided to use letter stickers to record our ages right on the photos.
And since I just can’t get enough of the wood veneer shapes I had to add some people and hearts to this here title page. 🙂 And with that my album is set and ready to go! Can’t wait to see what 2013 has to bring!
