And a Half

What is it about childhood that makes the 1/2 point of your age so important? My boys get more excited about saying “and a half” than they do about the age itself. I actually created this layout a year ago, but the phenomenon continues. 🙂

You know I’m a washi tape addict. And I’ve got the stuff coming out my ears! So why not use it to create an entire sheet of unique background paper? Want to know more about how I did it? Check out my scrapinar Washi Tape Wahoo! Which is on sale TODAY ONLY (Feb 25th, 2013). Using the coupon code ROBBED you get half off any two scrapinars purchased. (Long story on that code but it has to do with Lain Ehmann’s love of all things Hugh Jackman and the fact that he was ROBBED of an oscar last night for Les Mis. But hey, anything for a sale right?!?)

I just love this page! I love the stamping and the washi (of course) and the glitter stickles on the 1/2 number stickers. And I especially love the goofy pictures of my boys!

Don’t know what it is that makes the “and a half” so special, but I’m so glad I decided to document this stage of our life. What age related pages have you made?

Totally agree on the 1/2 age! My 3 year old just asked me the other night “Mama, remember when I was a little baby and I was just 3?” Me: {laughing} “Baby girl, you *are* just 3!” Her: “No mama, I’m 3 and a HALF!” It really is a different number to them! Thanks Monica for inspiring me to document the convo 🙂
