I make pages about people I love, places I love, even food I love. It’s about time I made a page about the hobby I love!
- Design Inspiration: I loved the series of rectangles in this layout! For my layout I chose to replace many of the blocks with photos rather than pattern paper, but I still love how bright and colorful it looks!
This layout was a sample layout for February’s LOAD. The prompt inspired me to look at the way this hobby has transitioned over the years for me. I took photos of sample layouts through the years. Man has my style changed! 🙂 But I love looking back at the fact that I’ve been scrapping, in one way or another, since the age of 8! This is definitely a hobby that is close to my heart!
I loved this card, but it wasn’t the same size as my photos. To widen it a bit I used some embroidery thread to create a larger block. I simply ran a line of Glossy Accents around the tag and adhered the thread down. Love how it turned out!
This journal block matched so well, but had some sayings that didn’t fit with my layout theme. By adding some punches and stamping I was able to adapt the tag to work with my page. Love that!
Have you given your favorite hobby a special place in your scrapbook albums? Leave a link in the comments, I’d love to see!
