The weather is finally turning colder and I’ve been able to bust out my favorite wardrobe! Now that I stay home, I can often be found in casual, comfy clothes. And one of my go to pieces is a long sleeve tee. You can dress it up with jewelry or a scarf, or go totally casual with a pair of yoga pants. In honor of my favorite dress code I’m sharing a layout I made for last February’s LOAD.
- Design Inspiration: I loved this grid design layout by Lisa Dickinson. I was especially drawn to the stitched lines of the grid!
- Color Inspiration: I wanted to use the “Tried and True” tag for my title so I pulled colors that would work well with that tag.
Over a short period of time I snapped photos of myself in long sleeve tees. Because the phone shots are rectangular I adapted my grid a bit to be rectangle sections rather than the typical square. Love that little twist!
I love these days of the week flair buttons by ormolu! Perfect for a page about how I wear these tees all the time! 🙂 And I had so much fun using these beaded pins as the body of my butterfly accents. I simply stuck it through the paper and taped it to the back of the paper to keep it from poking through anything!
This tag came in a box of retired goodies from My Minds Eye. I loved it but held on to it for a long time because I wasn’t sure how to use it. Using it as the title for this page was the perfect answer! And the fact that it took up two grid blocks just added to the interest on my page. Love that!
Kept my journaling super simple, which is fitting for this simple layout! Just love it! And I love that it’s time to bust out some of my favorite long sleeve tees and get cozy! Ahhhh, fall! 🙂
