I’ve made a page about my niece before (here) but have yet to share a page about her twin brother. Partly because it has taken him awhile to be willing to come sit and play with Auntie. But as he’s gotten more comfortable with me, I’ve been able to snap more photos of this adorable boy! And of course I had to scrap those pics! 🙂
- Design Inspiration: I loved the way Amy Tan layered up the elements along the right side of the page in this layout. I adapted it by making mine 12×12 and using larger photos.
- Color Inspiration: I loved the blues and greens in the photos and wanted to accentuate those colors without overwhelming the page. So I kept the background really neutral.
I had so much fun combining stamping, stickers, and a border punch to create this little embellishment area. And who could resist that adorable smile?!?
To give a supporting line to the photo block I layered up strips of scrap paper and then added the title along the side of the photos. So bright and fun!
And then some simple handwritten journaling to finish it off. This page came together really quickly and I truly love it! Not quite as much as I love this boy though! 🙂
