Soccer Star

If you have read my blog for long you know there are a few things I don’t love to scrap…Halloween, Christmas, Birthdays. Well know I can add one more…sports! I’ve decided I will scrap the first season of each sport for each boy. After that I’m moving to something like a mini album or a Shutterfly album.

Today I’m here to share a soccer layout. Let me say…I don’t love it. :) But done is done!

  • Design Inspiration: This time around I scraplifted myself! You can see this basketball layout here.
  • Color Inspiration: I thought of soccer fields and went with green and white.

In addition to the team photos I created a collage of a few of my favorite shots from the season.

To make the photo of my son stand out I matted it with some green paper.

I love the white with glitter circles, and the black border with circles…reminds me of soccer balls. Then the print on the green paper reminds me of a goalie net. Everything about this layout says soccer to me!

I used a bunch of soccer stickers I had on hand. And I WISH I had put them right under the black border rather than at the bottom of the layout. The way they are just doesn’t flow. But done is done. :)

Soccer has been my son’s favorite sport from the first moment he stepped on the field. I know that I have many soccer games and pictures in my future!

Thanks Ashley! I hate making sports layouts almost as much as I hate playing sports! So I needed to hear that! :) I do love watching my boys play though. I’m a great cheerleader, as long as I can stay in my chair! HaHa
