This month for Ella’s Take Twelve project I decided to photograph signs of spring. What says spring to you? For me it’s flowers, easter eggs, sunglasses, BLT sandwiches, ice tea, blue skies, green grass, flip flops, and outdoor sports.
- Design Inspiration: I loved the little banner underneath the photo block. I decided to create something similar on my page.
- Color Inspiration: I love bright happy colors of Amy Tangerine’s new line Sketchbook. This paper just reminded me of spring.
I kept things really simple and let the pictures speak for themselves. I didn’t feel a need to journal about what each item was because I felt it was pretty self explanatory!
Underneath the photo block I created my string of banners. I just grabbed some of my favorite washi tape, folded it around some bakers twine and trimmed the ends. I LOVE how it turned out! Believe me, I’m going to be making washi banners more often! So easy!
This page just makes me happy! Did you Take Twelve this month? It’s not too late to join the fun! You even still have time to link up for April and earn a chance to win A Muvazi Renewal Skin Care Set (retail price $149.95)! You have until midnight tonight, April 18th, to be eligible for this month’s prize. Even if you don’t enter this month, I encourage you to participate in Take Twelve in May! It’s never to late to begin!
