Project Life {Week 8}

Once again I’m linking up with The Mom Creative. So much Project Life inspiration over there! And now, here’s week 8…

You may notice a big blank spot. 🙂 My boys started soccer practice this week, on the same night. I got pics of my oldest and my husband took pics of the youngest but now the camera is MIA. I know it’s in the house but I can’t put my hands on it. So those pictures are to come! You may also notice a black spot on many of my images. Apparently I’ve got some dust on my sensor or something. Gonna have to figure out how to get that fixed. But that is not what this post is about, it’s about Project Life, so let’s get to it.

I actually didn’t have a ton of photos this week. I was quite under the weather most of the week and spent a lot of it in bed.

I even included a handout given to me at the doctors office about respiratory illness. Didn’t really help me feel any better having this descriptive handout on hand, but it made for good Project Life ephemera! 🙂 Ha!

Even took a self portrait at the doctor’s office. This is my best pitiful sick face. 🙂

Once again I created lots of digital 4×6 collages. It’s one of my favorite techniques to use on Project Life.

Two front teeth are now gone. 🙂 Isn’t that a happy face!

My sister called one day this week to say my almost 2 year old niece and nephew were asking to talk to Auntie. So we skyped. Didn’t matter to me that we had a crazy busy evening and only a few minutes to spare, I was going to spend them talking to my sweet twins! As we were signing off I thought to grab a screen shot. SO GLAD I DID!

Even had a little fun with some Ali Edwards word art. Wish the printer hadn’t cut it off, but oh well. Done is done. 🙂

This is my favorite story of the week. And yep, I’m that mom, I took a picture of my neked boy. EVERY morning he comes in to ask me what would match the shirt he chose (even though he knows the answer). I just crack up every morning. And decided I wanted to grab a shot. Even though he’ll probably hate me for it later. I know I’ll be glad I captured this little moment of my everyday life.

    I love your pages. I think the weeks I’ve had less photos to choose from I have actually been happier with my pages because I had more space for color or other “bits of stuff” from the week. It also forces me to journal more. I love what you have done with the space. And who couldn’t love the picture your son will wish you hadn’t taken, that YOU will be SO GLAD you did 🙂

      It’s so true! There is more room to be creative when you have fewer photos. And I have no regrets about that picture. 🙂 I love it even if he won’t!

    Great job! Love your photo collage & the insert of the upper respiratory illness cracks me up. But you don’t get more “real” than that! Thanks for sharing!

      Thanks Julie! I was pretty “real” this week. 🙂
