120 Days {Weeks 9-11}

It’s time for another update of my 120 days album. So far I’ve shown you how I put the album together, the first two weeks, weeks 3-5 and 6-8. And here we are with weeks 9-11.

All I can say about the highlight photo for week 9 is I thought it was cute. No more story than that. 🙂

This week also marked my son’s first lost tooth (as you’ve seen this week with my tooth fairy pocket and layout).

I used my photo collage technique so I could include three photos of my son’s first lost tooth. Just to help us remember the day I added some Ali Edwards word art. Love!

We also had a garage sale during week 9. While sitting outside all day I worked on researching how to use WordPress. This day was also the day I bought my first dot com (ahem this one of course!)

And welcome to week 10. Sorry for the poor quality of the photos (took them at night cause I so wanted to post these today!)

My highlight photo this week is a fun iPhone shot of me and my boys out on a Friday night. I’m so loving iPhoneography!

Sunday was a big day. For the first time since my Dad’s stroke last December we were able to go out to lunch as a family after church. I loved being able to revive this tradition! And I was so glad my sister and her family were in town to join us!

Before I start on week 11 let me tell you my exciting news from week 10!

My boys got to play laser tag for the first time. Which was fun, but not my big news.

In addition to launching Scrap Inspired I have also started a website called Childhood Spirituality. We focus on family devotions ideas, children’s ministry and spiritual practices for children. To honor that occasion I used the header image, my first post, and a few of my first comments. So much fun!

And then week 11 begins. And this week got even better. And yeah, I know the highlight photo is blurred, I have a reason for that which I’ll tell you about in a minute…

This week was filled with field trips, fun with friends, and life changing meetings…oh my!

My son and I went to the pumpkin patch with his pre-school. Then the following day at our regular play date with my cousin’s wife (what do you call that anyway? cousin-in-law?) we got to decorate fall sugar cookies. Fun fall week!

And then on Saturday things got real good! Last spring I got the opportunity to fulfill a life long dream…to write a children’s book. Then this week I got to see the first round of sketches. A.MA.ZING! I took a few pictures and used one as my highlight photo. But I can’t show you the images in draft form. Someday when the book is all done I’ll let you know all about it! But for today, know that this was a BIG week for me. love Love LOVE!
