Thank goodness today was better than yesterday! Here is my Thursday…
My morning started with more breakfast and bed. So I had to ask…”Tues I got breakfast and bread and you were so sweet all day. Yesterday I got no breakfast in bed and it was a rough day. So since I’m getting breakfast in bed again does that mean today will go well?” …yes…my son said.
Thurs morning means new content over at BPC. I enjoyed my breakfast with Stacy Julian and Finding Photo Freedom.
One way to make sure the boys get ready quickly is to race them. The rule is you have to be showered, clothed, teeth brushed, and hair done to “win.” This is my son saying, “I-I beat ya!”
I’ve been trying to keep my One Little Word in mind all week. Remembering to not only document but participate in each and every moment.
Went and got the estimate on the van this morning. Whew!
We were having friends over and I asked my son to sweep up in the kitchen. When he was done he was trying to put the brooms away and they kept falling out. He said,
“That area by the fridge is ANNOYING”
Always so excited to greet friends!
Love these sweet little legs. Miss Ayla is on the move now!
We love our regular play dates with our cousins (My cousin’s children whatever relationship that is).
My oldest showing off his new piano skills.
Time to say good-bye!
While the kids were napping I took time to read a bit. Can you guess the story?
I only made it for a bit before I fell asleep too.
At the grocery store my son pulls some coins out of his pocket and asks if he has enough for some candy. He counted out 61 cents. So he was able to buy some Brachs candy. So cute.
My prints from Persnikety Prints came today. So we put in the pages for my son’s School of Life album. He loved looking through it. I loved it too, until I noticed I had forgotten to put the end of school photo on the page. Ooops!
My boy that doesn’t like meat…unless it’s fried from McDs.
Taking some time to play in the basement. (Which I have to force them to do. They will never go willingly down there, but always have fun once they get there…go figure).
Making a bit of a to do list for the weekend.
Snuggling on the couch while watching So You Think You Can Dance.
He yells, “I gotta toot” and then runs for the wall. Happens many times a day.
We love our dance tv!
He was taking a LONG time to get ready for bed (during the final commercial break of SYTYCD) and I started to count down until I was going to un-pause the show. He flipped out and sobbed, but finally got himself ready and back downstairs.
Still a tear, but Mama snuggles help make everything better.
Yummy sweet treat. Vanilla ice cream, golden grahams, and honey. Oh so divine! What does it say about me that I end every day with a sweet treat? Besides the fact that my diet is going down the drain…
How was your day?
